GetronTrace is a modular "Track & Trace" software.

It is a solution developed to allow every pharmaceutical drug to be tracked according to "Pharmaceuticals Track and Trace System" published by The Ministry of Health of Turkey General Directorate of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy and scheduled to be effective on 1 January 2009.

The datamatrix code to be printed on the drug box contains information about the drug such as GTIN, Party No, Best Before Date and serial number which, together with GTIN makes the product unique.

GetronTrace works with industrial printers and labeling systems, does coding while enabling data transfers with producers' ERP systems and also verifies quality and correctness of marking within the framework of OCR/OCV procedures.

GetronTrace was developed on a modular and scaleable architecture and went through necessary certifications in order to fulfill industial standards. Starting from the Turkish Ministry of Health regulations going to the international standards, software and hardware regulations, it is found to meet the requirements and will meet the important need of Pharmaceuticals Track and Trace System in the health sector.
