Media detector is a program developed for media tracking companies. The application enables the tracking and reporting of the images being scheduled to be broadcast within the channel flow.

The features of Media Detector are shown below:

- Supports several video formats (AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2,MP4 etc)
- Screenshots of the programs scheduled to be broadcast are taken at the beginning,mid and end points and saved as referances.
- Allows scanning of multiple referance images any the same time.
- The start date and time and channel name for the image(s) to be scanned are entered into the application as a job order.
- When the scanning process starts images resembling the visuals being searched for are saved into the database together with channel name, date and time details.
- References found at the end of the scanning are presented to the user as a report.
