In this project's scope a transfer and integration of Generali Insurance Agents' packages running on AS400 system to the web and graphical interface was done without modifying the underlying insurance packages.

 In the system previously available in order for AS400 screens to be made available to agents client based Client Access had to be installed and adaptation to the text based greenn/black necessary. Moreover users could not benefit from innovation and system integration brought by current technology.

 In the new Travel Policy framework, existing programs and functions are made available for use by other systems after minimum development on AS400 was done. To cater for the possible future system integration web services which can use AS400 programs we developed under B2B and B2C scenarios.

In order to allow rich web content on user interfaces and shorten orientation period for new users software development was done using ASP.NET and AJAX technology thereby following current web trends.
