What We Do

   Borusan Mannesman is a company which produces steel pipes. The pipes have to be labelled at the last stage which is the cutting phase. This labelling process is done using Borusan Trace Line Controller application which controls Zanasi ZJET industrial printer using RS232 communication port.

  The Business Flow is as follows:

- The application communicates with the Siemens PLC device that controls the pipe cutting process on the cutting line. During this process it also gets the serial numbers produced, date and year details.
- This data collected is transferred to Zanasi ZJET printer using RS232 communication port and printed onto the pipes.
- Every process done is logged in the database and later used to produce reports based on shifts.
